A big surprise to me was the snacks and juices for the kids. I am sick and tired of taking the family out to do something and having to shell out $2 for a soda and $5 for a slice of pizza. They sell pop for $0.75 with free refills, juice or milk for $0.50 and a pretty large pizza is $12.00. Parents can play too! Not like crawling in a sewer tunnel like at McDonald's, but have a genuinely good time with the kids. Don't let them know that you are actually having as much fun as the kids. From one business person to another I want to compliment the owners for having the website created before going live and had all their information including pricing, hours, and a pretty good overview on what they do. Even though I would have prefered that they call me for website development, I still like it when companies do this ahead of time. Other Notes from their website: House of Bounce offers birthday parties and other parties as well. Taking the kids to the movies is getting pretty old and frankly, we would rather watch them on our TV anyway and bowling getting pretty predictable, we welcome this new venture and ask all of you with kids to visit them to make sure this small market will keep businesses like House of Bounce around Rochester!

House Of Bounce

So I noticed a new business in Rochester MN as I was coming back from an appointment the other day called the House of Bounce. For those of you that haven't heard of it, it is for kids to burn up some pent up energy from staying inside from the cold weather. If your kids are like mine, then they probably play the Nintendo Wii and surf the web on the cold days and don't get enough release. This company has taken the fun from the local festivals like Eyota Days and the typical company picnic and turned it into a business. For a pretty modest fee, you can bring the kids in and let them jump for a few hours.
